Itta Bena- Folks from across the nation stood in solidarity to mark 7 years since 15 marines and one navy corpsman died in the Yanky 72 crash. In 2017, Yanky 72, a cargo plane, carrying the 16 us servicemen was on its way to California for a training mission, when a propeller malfunctioned, and the plane crashed into a soybean field in Itta Bena.
