Johnny Garrett, president of the hosting Brundidge Historical Society, said it’s those women whose stories will be shared by nationally acclaimed story/performer and Road Scholar Dolores Hydock at the We Piddle Around Theater in Brundidge from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday June 23.

Admission is free but tickets are limited. To reserve tickets, call 334-268-2553.

Boots and cowboy hats and starched petticoats are permissible.

The free theater opportunity is made possible by the Alabama Humanities Alliance. Garrett expressed appreciation to the AHA for the opportunity to share the story of the women of the westward expansion at the WPA Theater.
