Missouri American Water, Ameren Missouri seeking rate hikes that would start in 2025
ST. LOUIS — Two Missouri utility providers are requesting to increase rates starting in the middle of next year. Missouri American Water and Ameren Missouri both said the increased funds would be used to pay for improvements to their respective systems that have already been completed or are in the works. The requests have been filed with the Missouri Public Service Commission, which will take the next 11 months to consider the proposals before making a decision.
