UNC Board of Governors unanimously approves program cuts at UNC Asheville, UNC Greensboro
The UNC Board of Governors has officially approved program cuts at UNC Asheville and UNC Greensboro. The unanimous vote is the final step in a months-long process and means that four departments and two language concentrations at UNCA and a combination of 20 programs, majors and minors at UNCG are no longer available to new students.

Caliche High School Students Excel at National Clay Target League Championships
Caliche students Caleb Schneider and Sam Lange from Sterling High School's clay target team competed in the USA Clay Target League National Championships in Michigan. Schneider scored 94, earning 268th place, while Lange scored 91, placing 899th. The event included 3,000 athletes with a final Championship Round awarding the top ten male and female athletes and top five teams.
