    Williams common pleas

    Bobby Rodriguez, 33, Bryan, appeared for sentencing on charges of strangulation and domestic violence, each a third-degree felony. He was given a prison term of two to six years with credit for 29 days served in jail while his case was pending.

    Robert Bell, 42, address unavailable, appeared for sentencing on charges of having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony; trespass in a habitation, a fourth-degree felony; attempt to violate a protection order, a fourth-degree felony; and menacing by stalking, a fourth-degree felony. He was given a 17-month prison term on the first three charges and was placed on community control for four years for menacing with conditions, including that he serve 30 days in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio and complete the SEARCH program. The trespass in a habitation charge was amended from burglary, a second-degree felony.

    Thomas McMichael, 34, Cecil, appeared for sentencing on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. He was placed on community control for two years and fined $1,000.

    Isreal Ramos, 46, Holgate, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs and illegal conveyance of a drug of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility, each a third-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing was scheduled for May 9.

    William Harp, 31, Toledo, pleaded not guilty to aggravated trafficking in drugs, a second-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony; possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony; possession of LSD, a fifth-degree felony; and possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 8 and his bond was continued.

    Shane Leininger, 34, 1222 Schultz St., Defiance, pleaded not guilty to strangulation, a third-degree felony; and two counts of domestic violence, each a fourth-degree felony. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 9 and he was given a personal-recognizance bond.

    Eric Martin, 26, Van Wert, pleaded not guilty to strangulation, a second-degree felony; disrupting public services, a fourth-degree felony; and domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 2 and his bond was continued.

    Montize Carter, 27, Napoleon, pleaded not guilty to illegal conveyance of a drug of abuse on the grounds of a detention facility, a third-degree felony; and possession of drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Thursday and his bond was continued.
