The best part? These are no ordinary mini Easter eggs you might find at mass retailers — some of the amazing ingredients finely crafted into these fabulous Venchi bites of pure pleasure in white, milk, or dark chocolate include hazelnuts, salted nuts, pistachios, chocolate nibs, as well as Venchi's signature Cremino, Giandujotto, Bigusto, and Dark Tiramisu recipes. Most are available in larger sizes as well, and offer a taste of fine Italian culinary craftsmanship and a brief taste of being Italy without so much as leaving the borough of Manhattan.
According to the Venchi website, "As a way to showcase the brand's incredible culinary artistry in working with chocolate and other fine ingredients from Italy, guests who visit the Venchi Boutiques at Columbus Circle (1796 Broadway) or Union Square (861 Broadway) will be able to sample three of their mini Easter eggs while supplies last."

"I'm excited to take my kids to Central Park for the afternoon and then pop in for some freebie Easter eggs," local New York City mom of two elementary school-age children, Jennifer Bellow, told News Break. "On Saturday afternoons we normally just hang around the park, go for a long walk around Midtown, and then stop for a small snack before heading home. My kids will be really excited for free Easter chocolates -- free candy is like winning the lotto for kids. I'm really excited to try them as well, because I've actually never tried this brand, and I generally like anything and everything from Italy."
