    Everything you need to know for 51st annual RedBud Pro Motocross National in Buchanan

    One of the biggest motocross events in the country returns to Buchanan, Michigan, again this weekend as the 51st annual RedBud Pro Motocross National MX takes place July 4-7.

    The track, located at 13638 Red Bud Trail N, Buchanan, MI, is a four-day event featuring amateur and professional races. All the pro races take place Saturday afternoon, with the amateur races occupying the three other days.

    Here’s more to get you ready for the four-day extravaganza.

    51st annual RedBud Pro Motocross National MX

    • WHEN: Thursday, July 4 to Sunday, July 7, 2024
    • WHERE:13638 Red Bud Trail N, Buchanan, MI
    • TICKETS: Can be purchased online at universe.com. General admission tickets for Saturday start at $75
    • PARKING: The South entrance is the only one open July 4, 5 and 7. The North and West entrances are open to the public July 6, with the South entrance only open to select people.
    • HOW TO WATCH: All pro races Saturday will be streamed on Peacock, with select ones on NBC as well from 2-3:30 p.m.

    DAILY SCHEDULE

    • JULY 4: South entrance open only starting at 6 a.m. Amateurs start practicing on pro track at 10 a.m.
    • JULY 5: South entrance open only starting at 6 a.m. Amateur day races for limited classes, 65cc-open divisions starting with practices at 8 a.m. Amateur night races for all classes 50cc and up starting with practices at 7 p.m. Fireworks 10:30 p.m.
    • JULY 6: North entrance opens at 6:30 a.m.; West entrance 7 a.m.; South entrance only for VIP pass holders, handicap parking, trackside parking pass holders, campers and street bikes at 6:30 a.m. Pro practices go from 8-11:15 a.m. The 250 consolation race is 11:45 a.m., 450 consolation race at noon. Opening ceremonies start at 12:30 p.m., with pro championship races going from 1-5:30 p.m. After pro races conclude, amateur races will be held until fireworks at 10:30 p.m.
    • JULY 7: South entrance open only starting at 6 a.m. Amateur racing on the full pro track layout, 65cc and bikes with practice starting at 8 a.m.
