Cool and comfy overnight; more chances for sunshine on Tuesday
Monday evening will be quite comfy as we start in the 70s with only a few clouds around. Stretching into the overnight won’t change much as mostly clear skies stay. The biggest change you’ll notice is when it comes to the temps as we see them drop into just the 50s. Should be a nice […]
Storch: The Role of Social Media and ‘Get a Life’

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - It’s been a few weeks since temperatures, at least in the lowlands, have maxed out in the 70s, and it’ll be a while before it happens again as we enter into the statistically hottest month of the year. Sunshine will prevail through about Wednesday afternoon, with temperatures jumping back into the upper 80s and low 90s. Then, an approaching system will increase our chances for scattered showers and storms Wednesday night into Thursday. By Thursday afternoon, a few of the storms could become severe, with the primary hazards being gusty winds and heavy rainfall. Given the soaking rain many of us received this past weekend, localized flash flooding is a possibility within Thursday downpours.
