Mostly clear skies and rising temperatures for the next few days
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Welcome into July NCWV! We woke up this morning to mostly cloudy skies across the area. This cloud coverage has already begun to start moving out of NCWV and will be fully out of our area by 10AM, leaving us with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies throughout the rest of the day! High temperatures today are going to be well below average, with highs only getting into the mid to high 70s in the lowlands and the high 60s in the higher elevations. These temperatures will warm up as high pressure settles into the area getting back into the low 90s by Wednesday. One thing that won’t change until Wednesday is that cloud coverage, we are going to continue to see these mostly clear to partly cloudy skies throughout tomorrow until an increase in cloud coverage due to a frontal system moves into our area on Wednesday evening. Rain showers and storms are associated with this frontal system and will be here throughout most of the day on the 4th of July and into Friday as well. Daniel Niemasz has all of this and more on your First Alert Forecast.
