Vermont State Police have located the abandoned vehicle of Matthew Houskeeper, a 59-year-old man from North Bennington, who has been missing for over three days. His car was discovered around 11:30 a.m. on Friday near Sherman Reservoir in Whitingham, but there were no signs of him in the vicinity. Houskeeper was last seen in Manchester, Vermont, at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday and was reported missing the following day after failing to arrive at work. He is described as 6’1″ tall and weighing around 210 pounds, with his mobile phone turned off. Investigators note that Houskeeper is an avid kayaker often found on local waters. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bennington Police at (802) 442-1030 or the VSP Westminster barracks at (802) 722-4600.
