What we know about Hatboro triple fatalHatboro accident claims 3 lives, including young mom, on County Line Road

Two Bucks County residents and a Montgomery County woman died of multiple injuries in a multiple vehicle accident Friday night in Hatboro that remains under police investigation.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as Upper Southampton residents Gabrielle Sims and Joseph Snavely, both 31, and Anna Swoyer, 69, of Hatboro. Their manner of death has been ruled accidental.

Hatboro Police Chief Mark Ruegg said that he anticipated an update on the accident investigation would be released later this week.

The accident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. at County LIne Road and Park Avenue on Friday where police found three vehicles, one on its roof.

The initial investigation determined that Snavely was driving a Chevy Camaro west on County Line Road and crossed into eastbound travel lanes where it struck a Nissan SUV operated by Swoyer, according to police. Both Snavely and Swoyer were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third vehicle, a Hyundai also traveling eastbound behind the Nissan, was also involved in the crash. The unidentified 69-year-old driver was taken to St. Mary Medical Center where she was listed in stable condition Sunday.

Snavley’s two passengers in the Camaro were removed and taken to Jefferson Abington Memorial Hospital, where Sims died of her injuries.

The second passenger, an unidentified 23-year-old female, suffered serious injuries and was listed in critical condition on Sunday.

Sims, a nurse, was remembered as a wonderful and loving mother to her 4-year-old daughter, according to a Go Fund Me campaign set up to help with expenses and the care of her daughter.

“She was an amazing mother, a caring sister, a loving daughter, a special niece, a great worker and an even better friend,” the post read.

As of Tuesday, the campaign had raised more than $13,000.

The Hatboro Police Department and the Eastern Montgomery County Crash Team are investigating the accident. Anyone who witnessed or has information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hatboro Police Department 215-675-2832 or submit a tip to montgomery.crimewatchpa.com/hatboropd/260650/webforms/s
