Juvenile killed in fatal accident at Route 13, Beaver Dam Road. What we know

A juvenile was struck and killed crossing Route 13 Saturday night, according to Bristol Township police.

Police released little information about the fatal accident, which happened around 8:44 p.m. at Beaver Dam Road and Bristol Pike.

The name, age and gender of the juvenile was not immediately released.

The juvenile on a bike was crossing over Bristol Pike headed west onto Beaver Dam Road when he or she was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup traveling south on Bristol Pike, according to a press release early Sunday.

The pickup truck driver, who was not identified, remained on scene and cooperated with police.

The juvenile was transported to Jefferson Torresdale hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Bristol Township police are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact Officer Andrew Stuart, Badge #183, at 267-812-3013.
