A four-run fourth inning and a fine pitching performance by Tyler Neeld propelled Council Rock Newtown to a 5-0 victory over Salem, New Hampshire, in the Little League World Series on Saturday night in Williamsport.

CR Newtown , the Mid-Atlantic champions , will play another consolation game in the double-elimination baseball tournament. The team will face Northwest champ Puyallup, Washington, Sunday at 1 p.m. on 6ABC.

CR Newtown took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third inning without a hit. Brody Gage drew a leadoff walk, Wes Esteves reached base on an error one out later and Gage scored when Will Siveter's grounder eluded the Salem first baseman.
