Duffel bags full of cash stolen from Fairless Hills business

Falls police are looking for information about two suspects who stole a “significant” amount of cash out of a car parked outside a check cashing business. The theft occurred shortly before 4 p.m. on Sept. 6 outside the Prime Check Cashing in the 600 block of Lincoln Highway, police said.

A preliminary investigation determined the suspects, who are believed to be men, smashed the window of an employee’s unoccupied car parked behind the business, and stole duffel bags containing cash. Police did not divulge the amount of money, but called it “significant.”

The suspects then got back into a white Ford Econoline van which fled northbound on Lincoln Highway.  Surveillance video captured images of the suspect and the van, which displayed a Pennsylvania Registration ZWS 6010, which was later determined to not belong to the vehicle, police said.
