Pennsylvania man arrested after shooting at Wellsville party
WELLSVILLE — A Pennsylvania man was arrested Wednesday for an alleged shooting during a party in the town of Wellsville, New York State police reported Thursday. Gregory S. Miller, 54, of Penndel in Bucks County, was charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree criminal use of a weapon.
Man Sentenced to 33 Months for $2.1m Bitcoin Theft From Pennsylvania Woman
A Colorado man, originally from Pennsylvania, has been sentenced after pleading guilty to stealing millions of dollars in Bitcoin from a Pennsylvania woman. After pleading guilty to a single count of wire fraud in January, a Philadelphia-area judge sentenced 47-year-old Adam Davis, originally of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, to 33 months in prison and three years of supervised release, as well as about $2.1 million in damages. According to United States Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero, Davis was engaged to help a Bucks County lady manage the $395,000 she had invested, allowing him access to her digital wallets from January 2014 until May 2021.
Gene & Marlene Epstein Humanitarian Fund challenges Bucks to help local cancer community
Kin, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit all-inclusive wellness and support center that provides free services to cancer patients, caregivers and local oncology healthcare workers across Bucks County, is the recipient of a challenge bestowed upon the Bucks County community by the Gene and Marlene Epstein Humanitarian Fund. From July 6-15, the people of Bucks County are asked to make a donation to Kin, and Gene and Marlene Epstein will match every dollar raised, up to $5,000.
