PennDOT Launches Aggressive Driving Crackdown Across Southeastern Pennsylvania
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a new initiative to combat aggressive driving. Over 80 municipal police departments from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties will join forces with the Pennsylvania State Police in a concerted effort to reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities on local roads.
Pa. DEP to conduct black fly spraying operation at stretch of Delaware River
EASTON, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection will be conducting aerial spraying for black flies on a stretch of the Delaware River Tuesday. The state DEP will conduct the aerial blackfly suppression operation on the Delaware River from Slateford in Northampton County downriver to the area near Trenton, New Jersey/Yardley, in Bucks County, according to a news release from Northampton County.
Update: The excessive heat warning is expected to expire at 8 p.m.
