BAR HARBOR — This week at the Bar Harbor Music Festival brings the Margaret Mills New Composers Concert, “Folk elements to the Fore — Bartok and his Legacy,” on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 7:30 p.m., at the College of the Atlantic Gates Auditorium. The program includes “Contrasts for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano” by Bela Bartok, and Suite from L’Histoire de Soldat by Igor Stravinsky. The concert follows a free, full-day seminar of Maine composers at COA.
Carter and Clark will Kebo Valley Club Championships

Free Liberty camp on the lake begins
LIBERTY, Maine (WABI) - A free camp for kids in Liberty began this morning. The Lake Keepers Camp, right on Lake St. George, aims to teach kids about important lake science through hands-on activities and games.
