    Crawford County restaurant inspections: June critical violations

    The following restaurant inspections with critical violations were conducted by Crawford County Public Health in June:

    Arby's , 700 N. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, June 10. Time/temperature controlled for safety food - hot holding (critical, corrected during inspection). Hamburgers observed hot holding below 135 degrees. Manager voluntarily discarded burgers correcting violation. Monitor hot holding temps.

    Speedway #8493 , 400 N. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, June 11. Time/temperature controlled for safety food - cold holding (critical). Temperatures in the walk-in-cooler were observed above 41 degrees. Operator relocated potentially hazardous foods during inspection. Walk-in cooler cannot be used to store potentially hazardous foods until unit is repaired. Correct by reinspection June 17.

    Bucyrus Duchess Shoppe #1116 , 1880 E. Mansfield St., Bucyrus, June 14. Ready-to-eat, time/temperature controlled for safety food - date marking (critical, corrected during inspection). Observed foods in coolers without proper date marking (cooked eggs, hot dogs, sausage, bratwurst). Ensure foods are properly marked and discarded within seven days. Manager placed correct dates on products during inspection.

    Speedway #8493 , 400 N. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, June 17. Time/temperature controlled for safety food - cold holding (critical repeat). Temperatures in the walk-in-cooler were observed above 41 degrees. At reinspection June 17, walk-in-cooler was still not fixed. Facility is not storing any potentially hazardous foods in walk-in-cooler until it is repaired. Facility will contact the inspector once cooler is repaired.

    Northside Fuel Stop LLC , 1505 N. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, June 18. Time/temperature controlled for safety food - hot holding (critical, corrected during inspection). Chicken tenders were slightly below 135 degrees in hot holding. Manager adjusted temp in unit. Ensure food is placed directly under warming lights in unit.

    Circle K #4705653 , 405 N. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus, June 18. Ready-to-eat, time/temperature controlled for safety food - date marking (critical, corrected during inspection). Observed pepperoni rolls in prep cooler without a date. Operator placed correct date on rolls during inspection.
