Pets of the Week: Meet Ellie and Izzy

Ellie is a 2-year-old female Australian shepherd. She was brought into the Humane Society Serving Crawford County on June 20 when her owner moved and the new home was too small for her energy.

Ellie is super sweet, loving and very friendly. She loves toys, especially the plush ones, but the squeaky ones are a close second. Ellie gets along with other dogs and she absolutely loves being around kids and people.

Due to her herding traits, she is not good with cats.

Izzy is a female domestic short-haired tabby who is estimated to be 3 1/2 years old. She was brought to the Humane Society on May 16 when her owner moved and left her behind.

Izzy is very loving, affectionate and playful. She enjoys being cuddled, held and petted.
