Littleton police shoot, kill man who approached officers with weapon, police say
LITTLETON, Colo. — A man was shot and killed by Littleton police after approaching officers with a weapon Monday evening, the Littleton Police Department said. The department said around 5:45 p.m., officers responded to a call at a house in the area of West Kettle Avenue and South Datura Circle.

ColoradoSPH and LEAD Center Take a Lead Role in Second Cycle of ECHO Program
The Lifecourse Epidemiology of Adiposity & Diabetes (LEAD) Center at Colorado SPH has received a $17.8 million award from the National Institutes of Health for a seven-year cycle of the Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Program. The award funds a new pregnancy study to examine the effects of environmental exposures on 810 pregnant people and their children recruited from Denver Health and UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital.

DU Expands Efforts to Protect Older Adults From Financial Fraud
Older Americans are at high risk for financial fraud, losing more than $20 billion annually, according to a 2023 report from AARP.
