State Hurricane Evacuation Drill to Take Place on I-195 on Thursday
TRENTON, NJ — Drivers who see an increased police presence on I-195 should not be alarmed, according to state officials. New Jersey's transportation and emergency agencies will be conducting their annual hurricane evacuation exercises on Thursday, July 18 on several major roads and highways throughout the state, including I-195 beginning in Robbinsville, to practice and refine response activities in the event of a major hurricane. CBRE has announced the $221.5 million sale of Lenox and Quinn Apartments, two adjacent Class A multifamily assets totaling 408 units in Jersey City. This represents the largest single multifamily transaction in New Jersey in nearly five years. CBRE represented the seller, institutional investors advised by J.P. Governor Murphy, Attorney General Platkin Announce Grant Recipients for Community Crisis Response Teams
Governor Phil Murphy and Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin announced today that organizations in Camden City, Newark, Paterson, and Trenton have been selected to receive grant funds to support the creation of local Community Crisis Response Team (CCRT) Pilot Programs. Eligible municipalities and community-based organizations participated in a competitive grant process that made up to $2 million available per municipality. The Center for Family Services in Camden, the Newark Community Street Team, the Reimagining Justice Inc./Paterson Healing Collective’s Paterson Compassionate Care Collaborative Project, and Salvation and Social Justice in Trenton were selected to receive funds and establish CCRT pilots in their respective cities.
