An Iskalo Development Corp. affiliate has paid $2.48 million for a food manufacturing facility in Amherst.<\p> The building at 500 Creekside Drive was until recently the home of Mister Snacks, a manufacturer of trail mixes and other snack products.<\p>

Clarence street lands second million-dollar home sale this month
June’s been a busy month for million-dollar homes, and Clarence has been a popular setting for the high-end deals.<\p> Most recently, Jonathan and Rachel Amoia sold 4490 Boncrest Drive West, Clarence for $1.48 million to Michael Stoffman and Kristin Rogers of Williamsville, according to June 14 filings with the Erie County clerk’s office. <\p>
WNY health care employment is still recovering — gradually
Regional employment levels for health care and social assistance jobs reached 77,800 roles in April 2024.<\p> That’s the highest employment level for that sector since the pandemic hit in spring 2020. Still, it remains 2,200 jobs below pre-pandemic levels, based on state Department of Labor data for the Buffalo metro area.<\p>

A Buffalo manufacturer recently released new Disney products. <\p> Oxford Pennant last year bought a license to use popular Disney images and characters on its camp flags and pennants. In a LinkedIn post, Oxford Pennant co-founder David Horesh wrote, the release is “the first of several upcoming licensed launches” with Walt Disney Co. <\p>

Manufacturer pays $5M for 11-acre site
A Lancaster manufacturing company paid just over $5 million for the former site of an Alden company that shuttered its plant last year. <\p> Broadway Alden LLC, an affiliate of Pfannenberg USA, paid $5.05 million for three adjacent parcels totaling more than 11 acres that were home to the former Gamma North Corp., according to documents filed with the Erie County clerk’s office.<\p>
East Aurora million-dollar home sells for the second time in 2 years
East Aurora has recorded its first million-dollar home sale of the year.<\p> Alexandra Ries and Rebecca Moline recently sold 230 Hamlin Ave., East Aurora for $1.47 million to African Pompano LLC, according to June 14 filings with the Erie County clerk’s office.<\p>
Former Niagara Chocolates plant sold in $6.5M deal
The former home of the Niagara Chocolates line of sweets has been sold for $6.5 million.<\p> Chocolat Frey US Real Estate LLC, an affiliate of international retailer Migros Industrie, sold the warehouse, retail and office complex at 2500 Genesee St., Cheektowaga to 1370 William Street Property LLC, an affiliate of e-cigarette distributor Magellan Technology.<\p>

Five years after buying a longtime city of Tonawanda bar, Keith and Selina Marshall have launched a new concept at 200 Main St. <\p> The new bar/restaurant – named simply 200 Main – takes the place of the Dome, which for the past three years had been leased to Hen House.<\p>
West Seneca proposal would turn mansion into apartments
