Niagara Falls Hotel Set for $16 Million Rock-and-Roll Transformation

    2024-06-12

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — A vacant hotel in Niagara Falls is set for a major transformation with a $16 million plan to turn it into a rock-and-roll-themed destination.

Live-USA Incorporated, the owner of the 80-room building at 472 Main St., intends to revamp it into Hotel Live!, a luxury hotel complete with a restaurant, bar, and music venue. The site, which has previously operated as Niagara Inn and Howard Johnson, is poised to become a vibrant hub for music lovers.

To help fund this ambitious project, Live-USA Incorporated is seeking $2.12 million in tax breaks from the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency (IDA). According to their application, the extensive remodel will involve a complete renovation of all hotel rooms and the addition of the new music venue and restaurant.

This project is expected to create 32 full-time and 52 part-time jobs, bringing new employment opportunities to the area and revitalizing the property into a lively, rock-and-roll-themed destination.
