Cyclists Attacked By Driver And Passenger Who Opened Fire During Group Ride In Uptown, Video Shows
UPTOWN — A driver and his passengers fired shots and threw punches at bicyclists during a popular citywide group bike ride Friday. About 8 p.m. Friday, a fight broke out as cyclists were riding on Sunnyside Avenue between Magnolia and Racine avenues in Uptown during a Critical Mass bike ride, in which hundreds of cyclists ride together in a group to promote safety while cycling in the streets.
