    'I just want my son': Mother of 3-year-old killed on Domedion Avenue speaks out

    Shakenya Griffin wants justice after her 3-year-old son, Ramone Carter, was shot and killed Friday night on Domedion Avenue.

    "There were kids everywhere running," Griffin said. "He ran to me and I grabbed him and I didn't know right away that he got shot. There was blood. I grabbed him, picked him up, and collapsed in my neighbor's grass."

    Ramone died just before his fourth birthday.

    "He was such a loveable person. I just want my son," Griffin cried. "I always wanted a son. I finally had a son. Now I don't have a son."

    His family says they will always remember his vibrant spirit.

    "He's a die-hard Bills fan," said his sister Shakira Campbell. "He loved Josh Allen. He loved playing football outside with the kids. Football was his everything."

    Loved ones honored Ramone Carter on Saturday . The 3-year-old was shot and killed in Buffalo while playing outside with his 7-year-old sister.

    On Friday evening, Bruce Warrick of Trust God Ministries baptized grieving community members on Domedion Avenue.

    "I just believe that this was an opportunity," Warrick said. "If they want to meet him again in Heaven, this is the great opportunity for them to be saved and to be filled and know who Jesus is so they can see him again in Heaven."

    Ramone's family said they are keeping faith on their side, and praying someone will come forward.

    "Enough is enough," Campbell said. "All this gun violence has to stop."

    "This stuff has to stop," Griffin said. "This violence has to stop."
