Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) – The Buffalo Sabres have given qualifying offers to four of their six restricted free agents before Sunday's deadline.

The four restricted free agents receiving a qualifying offer includes:

    - G - Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: $971,250
    - C - Peyton Krebs: $874,125
    - D - Henri Jokiharju: $2.6 million
    - LW - Beck Malenstyn: $813,750

Defensemen Jacob Bryson and Riley Stillman were the two player not tendered qualifying offers on Sunday, meaning they will become unrestricted free agents on Monday at 12 p.m. ET.

This doesn't necessarily mean that either Bryson or Stillman aren't coming back to Buffalo. Once free agency starts, Buffalo could sign both of them for less, especially in Bryson's case, who would have made $1.9 million with his qualifying offer.

As for defenseman Calle Sjalin, he has already signed a contract to return to Sweden. He was acquired in the Kyle Okposo trade with the Florida Panthers.

In addition to the opening of NHL Free Agency on Monday at 12 p.m. ET, Sabres Development Camp also begins with the opening practice taking place at 2 p.m. ET at Harborcenter.
