Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The winners for this year's Taste of Buffalo have been chosen, with Dom's Taco from D.A. Taste winning the Chair's Choice, chosen by Taste of Buffalo Chairman Tom Mahoney. Carrubba's Chicken Pit, which was featured on WBEN last week, took home Rookie of the Year honors. The Fried Cauliflower Taco from Dirty Bird Chicken N' Waffles won Best Overall Item. Raymour and Flannigan is teaming with Harlequin Hobby to host a tabletop gaming event this Saturday from 10am to 6pm, raising money for Habitat for Humanity Buffalo. The event will be held at the Raymour and Flanigan Outlet at 1650 Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga. Admission is free with commemorative tokens being sold to play games for $5.

Gas prices in Buffalo stayed put over the last week at $3.56 per gallon, according to GasBuddy. The price of gas across the country rose 2 cents since last Monday at $3.49.
