Train derails, hits garage in Niagara Falls

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A train appeared to derail and hit a garage on Seneca Avenue near 35th Street in Niagara Falls on Monday morning.

A WIVB photographer on the scene captured the train hitting the garage on the back part of the home. There were multiple emergency crew units on scene.

WIVB has reached out to Niagara Falls Police for more information and are waiting to hear back.
