    Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Club Pilates, an international Pilates brand will open its newest studio in Williamsville Friday. Club Pilates Williamsville is offering 20% off the first three months of new memberships and waiving enrollment fees through this Sunday. The studio is located at 8060 Transit Road.

    Niagara University has been given $261,500 by New York State to make a virus-preventing therapeutic using technology developed at the University. NU is one of just three schools to receive those funds.

    Canisius University will launch three new programs this coming school year, which starts August 26th. The school will now offer bachelors degrees in biomedical science, and in mathematics and psychology, both of which can lead to Masters degrees in data analytics.

    Amherst-based Arbor Capital Management has been purchased by Massachusetts company F.L. Putnam Investment Management, per Buffalo Business First. Arbor had been managing more than $950 million in assets with around 250 clients according to F.L. Putnam.
