Two recent Washington transfers could be options for Texas A&M baseball
Texas A&M baseball’s 2025 roster is all but set after hiring new head coach Michael Earley. Nearly half of the 14 portal entries have returned to the team, as Jim Schlossnagle’s abrupt exit to take over the Texas Longhorns program resulted in a chaotic transition last week. Earley, who served as the program’s hitting coach for the last three seasons, was by far the most popular coach on staff. He recruited and developed star hitters Jace LaViolette, Gavin Grahovac, and Caden Sorrell, while former Penn outfielder Wyatt Henseler reaffirmed his commitment to the program for next season. Texas A&M’s Dominance Over Texas Longhorns Stuns Fans as Key Players Return
The Schlossnagle coup by the Longhorns, as it turns out, wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. What was portrayed to be a seismic shift by Texas fans looks now as though it was only momentarily destabilizing for Texas A&M baseball. Texas thought they were essentially vivisecting a program that had completely passed them by; after all, the Aggies ended Texas’s season two out of the last three years, and now the Longhorns thought they were getting the coach that was primarily responsible for that level of play. Not only him, either, but all of the players that really…
