CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — This new 501(3)(C) has thousands of followers because of what they stand for. In late December - early January is when their social media started to go viral and because of this push for change "Luck's Rescue" was born. They now have a board of volunteers that are taking action to clean up the streets of North Georgia and the Chattanooga Area. Luck's Rescue is always looking for volunteers so if you are looking to help your community then don't hesitate to reach out. If you are looking to foster or adopt then they can help. Cookeville Will Apply For 3rd Spring St Grant
Cookeville will apply for a new multi-modal grant to complete the next phase of the Spring Street Sidewalk project. This section would include sidewalks from Carlen Drive to the Saxony Development. Phase one of the project has been completed while phase two is expected to bid this fall. Community Development Director Jon Ward said the project began with a T-DOT grant application in 2014.
