Four gang members plead guilty in Canton car break-ins
CANTON, Ga. - Four members of the Nine Trey Gangsters Bloods gang have pleaded guilty to a series of car break-ins and other criminal activities in Canton. The defendants, Kadarius Keyonte Odims, Trentavious Watkins, Damonte Dekeys Brown, and Shaquavion Adkins admitted their involvement in the crimes committed in January 2019.

CCSD Leader Appointed to Statewide Advisory Council
A Cherokee County School District leader has been appointed to a statewide advisory council. Tara Quinn-Schuldt, CCSD’s coordinator of student support, will serve this school year on the Georgia Department of Education’s School Social Work Advisory Council. She is one of only 30 social workers statewide selected to represent their colleagues at the state level and provide their professional insight to GaDOE leaders. Quinn-Schuldt was appointed to her new role as coordinator this summer after serving as a student support specialist for CCSD. A 19-year professional in her field, she most recently was honored this spring with the 2024 Goshen Spirit Award presented by Goshen Valley in recognition of her support for the foster youth the organization serves.

According to PEOPLE, the Chrisley Knows Best alum is set to return to Atlanta on September 25 to receive a new sentence. The seven-year tax evasion and fraud sentencing was thrown out due to the lack of evidence.
Former Falcons quarterback not impressing his new team in training camp
It is hard to believe that the Atlanta Falcons have gone from Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke to Kirk Cousins and Michael Penix Jr. (and Heinicke) in one year. Last year's opening-day starter, Ridder, did not impress his team. He was benched a couple of times as he routinely made ugly mistakes.
