Northport bridge damaged in crash remains closed
NORTHPORT, Ala. (WBRC) - Bad news about that damaged bridge in Northport - it will remain closed for a while longer. The bridge, near the Tuscaloosa National Airport in the 6900 block of 5th Street, has been closed since mid-July after a motorist said he had ‘mechanical failure’ and crashed into part of the concrete railing.
