Stormont Vail Health’s vascular testing facility receives award for maintaining 30 years of excellence
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Stormont Vail Health’s Cotton O’Neil Heart Center received an award for maintaining 30 years of excellence in vascular testing. Stormont Vail Health officials announced that Cotton O’Neil Heart Center has received the Gold Milestone Recognition from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). The award recognizes 30 years of excellence for the vascular testing facility. As one of the first facilities to earn IAC accreditation in vascular testing, they are part of an elite group representing their continuous commitment to quality patient care.

Commanding General discusses Fort Riley
Maj. Gen. Monte Rone told a Military Affairs Council Breakfast audience in Junction City this week that Fort Riley can't be a secret. Rone noted that his concern is always the single soldiers finding opportunities to do things, "finding unique ways that we can take care of all our Soldiers, especially single soldiers." Overland Park is planning to replace the sidewalks in two neighborhoods this year in the city’s northern half.
