Vendors wanted for month-long Tysons Mixed Market at The Boro
After a successful first year, the Tysons Mixed Market is coming back for a second summer of food, crafts and art. Organized by the Tysons Community Alliance (TCA), the market will once again bring small, local businesses and artisans to The Boro (8350 Broad Street) every Wednesday for six weeks from 4-8 p.m., starting on Aug. 21.
A 20-year-old Suspect Of Armed Carjacking Has Been Arrested In Northeast Washington, Dc
In a brief exhibition of justice served, the Metropolitan Police Department verified the arrest of a 20-year-old male following an armed carjacking that scared a driver in Northeast Washington, D.C. The suspect, Kendall Joiner of Northeast, faces serious charges for his role in the May 30 incident on the 2000 block of Savannah Street in Southeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
