LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Bullitt County residents will have a new place to find relief from summer heat in the near future. Officials on Friday held a groundbreaking ceremony for a $25.2 million aquatic center that will be built by the Hagerman Group on Joe B. Hall Avenue, next to Kart Kountry. The center will feature an outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool, along with water slides, a splash park and pickleball courts.

A Bullitt County man has been busted with nearly 30 pounds of marijuana at Muhammad Ali International Airport. Nickalos W. Six Kentucky tourism agencies have partnered to create a fully immersive experience that brings historic Kentucky figures to life. The Kentucky Black Trailblazers is a transformative, first-of-its-kind experience that uses augmented reality (AR) to celebrate the influential Black figures who shaped the history of the commonwealth and beyond. The project was developed by tourism agencies in Shelby County, Louisville, Oldham County, Bardstown, Elizabethtown and Shepherdsville-Bullitt County.
Bullitt County man charged with having 29 pounds of marijuana in luggage at Louisville airport
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Bullitt County man was charged with trafficking after allegedly being caught with 29 pounds of marijuana in his luggage at the Louisville airport. Court records show Nickalos Ashlock, 21, Shepherdsville, was arrested Monday on a separate charge for driving a stolen vehicle. But the marijuana charge dates back to September 2023.
