Motorcyclist killed during crash on Northwest Side
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash on Highway 211 Saturday morning. Police were called to the scene near the Government Canyon State Natural Area around 7:45 a.m. Investigators say the person riding the motorcycle lost control while taking a curve at high speed. The person was thrown from the bike and killed at the scene.

The board's unanimous decision, made possible by the inclusion of "disaster pennies" under state law, has paved the way for a 1% salary increase for teachers, librarians, counselors, and nurses. "We're in a tough environment, but this will actually help sustain us for a year," trustee José Macias told the board during a workshop, as reported by the San Antonio Express-News.
