Capitol Region Military Alliance of Virginia First Inaugural Business Meeting Held
On July 11, America's newest military advisory council, known as the Capitol Region Military Alliance of Virginia, held its inaugural meeting. The event brought together business leaders, government officials, military personnel, military service organizations, educators, and civic leaders to support national defense and enhance the quality of life in our region. CaRMA serves the three military installations of Fort Gregg-Adams, Fort Barfoot, and Defense Supply Center - Richmond, and brings business, government, military, military service organizations, education, civic leaders together to support national defense and quality of life for the region. The initiative is supported by the three installations, the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Crater Planning District Commission, local governments that surround the installations, and chambers of commerce that serve the region.
