WASHINGTON - A woman contacted FOX 5 after being assaulted at the L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station in Southwest D.C. The victim, Martha Dulko, says she was viciously hit in the head multiple times by a group of juveniles and even tased. She now has a concussion but is thankful to be alive.
Police Search for Shih Tzu Stolen in Southeast
Another dog has been stolen, this time from a car in Southeast Capitol Hill. On Saturday, July 13, at around 12:58 p.m., a woman left a dog and her purse in her car while parked in the 1900 block of M Street SE, a relatively quiet block along the river where the Anacostia Community Boathouse is located, along the river south of the Congressional Cemetery.

Oasis in the mountains: A tour of the Piedmont Memorial Overlook
A little east of Front Royal, the Piedmont Memorial Overlook offers stunning views near Sky Meadows State Park. WMRA’s Ayse Pirge took a tour.
