Mental competency hearing set for alleged chainsaw attacker
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A mental competency hearing is set for John Pittman, the man accused of cutting his mother’s arm with a chainsaw. NOPD documents detail Monday’s domestic violence investigation. Police say Pittman and his mother got into a verbal altercation before Pittman grabbed a chainsaw, chased his mother into the street, and cut her arm.
