A museum in Los Angeles County is looking for whoever stole their Crypt Keeper, a statue of the famous character from “Tales from the Crypt.”

The theft occurred on Sunday, according to an Instagram post by the Mystic Museum , a horror museum located on Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank.

The museum shared a photo of the alleged suspect, who moved the statue to the back of the museum’s store before placing it in a bag and leaving.

Based on the museum’s post, the purported suspect is a bald man with a light gray beard wearing a blue and gray camouflage shirt and dark-colored shorts.

“[We] need the help of the horror community and our friends to get the word out,” the museum’s Instagram post’s caption read.

Anyone with information on the Crypt Keeper’s whereabouts is urged to contact the museum at managem ent@themysticmuseum.com or the Burbank Police Department at 818-238-3000.

The museum is offering a $500 reward for any information leading to the Crypt Keeper’s return.
