Burlington-Canton Animal Shelter at full capacity

BURLINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials with the Burlington-Canton Animal Shelter announced Tuesday they are not taking in any more animals right now after reaching capacity.

Animal Control said they are down to one emergency kennel.

If you’re able to help foster or adopt a dog, they have two dogs- a senior pitty and a 6-month-old- available this weekend.

Animal Control asks you to get in touch by 4 p.m. Thursday if you can adopt of foster either, or both, dogs. They can be reached at (860) 960-6600.
