    U. S. Senator from Kansas Roger Marshall and Senator from Colorado Michael Bennet have been talking with farmers about dealing with the drought. They held meetings in Goodland, Kansas and Burlington, Kansas. The Republican and Democrat are co-chairs of the Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation. Marshall says they're looking for input as the Senate attempts to pass a farm bill.

The Kansas Republican says today's farmers are using the latest technology to conserve water.
