BURLINGTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Students in Burlington elementary schools are getting involved in a civic pride project.

After being provided some design guidance, they are using their creativity to design "I Voted" stickers for a contest.

Five favorite designs will be chosen and then voted on at the town's 225th birthday celebration at the end of this month.

A winning design will be picked from those five and will be printed and distributed to voters during the annual Town Election on April 5th.

Town Clerk Amy Warfield is behind the contest. "We put the contest out to all of our school children," she said. "I'm hoping the kids get involved and are excited about it. There are always some great artists out there and it will be amazing to see what they will come up with for drawings."
