Awesome Foundation Grant Award Winner: The Tell
Courage? Vulnerability? Active self-empowerment? The TELL brings individuals together in a community built on sharing personal experiences. Originating in 2012, the unscripted storytelling event was one of many community gatherings that ended abruptly at the beginning of 2020 with the COVID-19 outbreak. Now, four years later, enthusiasts are looking at a reboot of this unique community experience.

NDSU: Be aware of toxic cyanobacteria
Cyanobacteria, also known as blue-green algae, can produce toxins that are harmful to livestock, wildlife and people. In the last week the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality has reported three cyanobacteria blooms on lakes and reservoirs in the state. NDSU Women’s Track & Field Team, 10 Individuals Named USTFCCCA All-Academic
The North Dakota State women's track & field team and 10 of its individual student-athletes were honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as All-Academic performers, the organization announced this week. As a team, the Bison women recorded a cumulative grade point average of 3.61 to earn the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award for the 19th consecutive season. A minimum team cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required for the award. Danielson Selected by Texas Rangers in MLB Draft
FARGO, N.D. – Right-handed pitcher Joey Danielson has been selected by the Texas Rangers with the 525th pick in the 17th round of the 2024 MLB Draft on Tuesday afternoon. Danielson appeared in 62 games over five seasons on the mound for NDSU. His 62 appearances ranked tied for eighth all-time in NDSU history. He totaled 12 saves over that span, which is positioned tied for sixth all-time in Bison history. Danielson registered 93 total strikeouts over 89.0 innings in his career and registered a 5.97 ERA.
Drekker and Red Cross team up for blood drive
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Drekker and Brewhalla partnered with the Red Cross in an effort to get people out to donate blood. The blood drive was held at Drekker Brewing in Fargo, and as part of the deal donors would receive a free 12 ounce beer when they donated.
