SIREN - An update from the Burnett County Sheriff's Office reported that Ashley L. Janisch was found safe in Forest Lake, Minn., after officers responded to a tip that she had purchased a hotel room there.

An update from the Burnett County Sheriff's Office says their investigation has revealed Ashley L. Janisch, 22, who was reported missing around 7:45 a.m. on Monday, July 8, from a group home in Meenon Township, was picked up by a passing motorist a short time after leaving the home on Sunday, July 7.

Janisch reportedly spent some time at the Budget Host Inn in North Branch, Minn. She was dropped off there at 7 p.m. on July 8 and left on foot sometime in the middle of the night.

Janisch has cut her hair short and changed her clothing in an attempt to change her appearance. She was last known to be wearing a wide-brimmed straw hat, a black T-shirt with writing on it and floral pants. She was also seen wearing gloves. Janisch may be using other names.

Anyone who has seen her or knows where she is should contact the Burnett County Sheriff's Office or a local law enforcement agency.
