Broken Arrow football coach arrested on drug charges is fired
A Broken Arrow High School football coach who was arrested on drug charges is no longer employed by the school district. The Broken Arrow Public Schools confirmed Thursday that Pearlie Deshawn Graves had been released from employment. Pawhuska voters to decide on sales tax extensions in August
Pawhuska voters will be able to cast ballots Aug. 22, Aug. 23 and Aug. 27 on two city sales tax questions. The ballot questions ask whether one-quarter of a penny of sales tax to pay for an economic development program should be continued through Dec. 31, 2029, and whether three-quarters of a penny of sales tax to pay for street, curb and sidewalk improvements as well as water and sewer improvements should also be continued through Dec. 31, 2029.
