Unlicensed Driver from Honduras Cited After Crash
(La Porte County, IN) - There were no injuries in a single vehicle crash in La Porte County by an unlicensed driver from another country. According to La Porte County Police, the investigation shows the 24 year old man was traveling in a road construction zone on U.S. 20 near 300 West when he veered off the highway and struck a tree on Friday. That stretch of highway is down to one lane in each direction because of the road work.

One person is dead and two more were injured in a shooting in Chicago's Lawndale neighborhood Monday afternoon, police said.The shooting happened near Cermak and Karlov on the West Side. A Wienermobile crashed into a vehicle and flipped on its side around lunchtime Monday on a busy Chicago-area highway.
