A new face for City Hall unveiled
The Douglas City Hall will soon receive a facelift, and now we have a better idea of what the nondescript building at Fourth and Center streets may look like. The city council voted in July to accept a $389,000 bid from K&R Construction, of Douglas to replace and repair the building’s facade. K&R is partially owned by Douglas City Councilman Ron McNare.

Trial set for Gering man charged in baby’s death
