Duff Beer in Michigan? Maybe The Simpsons Lived Here After All
This could be the missing link. For nearly 35 years America's favorite yellow family has made their home in the town of Springfield. However, exactly which of the 67 populated places in the U.S. named Springfield is the show referring to?. We do not know. Unfortunately, one of the longest-running...

The Only Town Located in the Michigan Thumb’s Lower Knuckle: Marysville
Here's a little town I found accidentally: Marysville, located in the county of St. Clair, on the shores of the St. Clair River, at the bottom knuckle of Michigan's Thumb. It's the only town in that lower knuckle...sure, others are close, like Smiths Creek and Kimball, but Marysville has 'em beat.

U.S. Border Patrol Thwarts Cross-Border Smuggling Attempt on St. Clair River Near Detroit
Officials have cracked down on a human smuggling operation in Metro Detroit after agents witnessed a boat illegally crossing from Canada into the United States, resulting in the arrest of five individuals. On June 25, U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Marysville Station observed the vessel on the St. Clair River as it dropped off three passengers on the U.S. shoreline who then proceeded to quickly get into a waiting car. According to WWJ News Radio, the individuals were swiftly apprehended by the authorities.
Marine City hires new DPW superintendent
The Marine City Commission voted unanimously on July 11 to hire Aaron Atkinson as superintendent of the city’s Department of Public Works. Retired DPW Superintendent Jeffrey Schmidt, who had a part-time, as-needed employment agreement approved at the commission’s June 20 meeting, came forward during the public comment portion of the meeting to speak.
To the Marine city council
All the Marine City councilmembers repeatedly say they “love our small businesses.” But what value is professing love if it isn’t followed up with a little hugging and kissing. In fact, it’s usually followed by the opposite: slapping on some new burden. In the most recent example, the City Council is forcing the Brookside Bar & Grill to get a new, revised liquor license that restricts the use of their backyard property to the “hardscape patio” even though no such restriction exists for their current license.
Supporting loved ones, community a big draw for Rotary parade
Hundreds of families, visitors and local residents lined the main street through downtown Port Huron Wednesday, as the Rotary International Day Parade got underway. Secret Tunnel & Room Found Underneath a Home in Marysville, Michigan
When I bought my house, I was told there may be secret compartments in the walls. After looking over every inch of every wall, I finally found one: way down at the bottom between the floor and the wall. I opened it up, hoping to find anything – money, valuables, maybe it was even a weed stash. But no. It was completely empty.
Knoblock And Soper To Debut American Custom Marine Raceboat At The St. Clair River Classic
The owner of American Custom Marine in Kimball, Mich., Michael Knoblock doesn’t simply enjoy speed on the water. Knoblock makes his living selling powerboats, from new Nor-Tech center consoles to pre-owned V-bottoms and catamarans, that deliver it. His most recent personal pleasure-boat, for example, was a well-known Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats 51 GTX called Mamba. Then-powered by a pair of Mercury Racing 1075SCi engines, the Dean Loucks-painted 51-footer topped 120 mph.
